Terms of Service

Idea Committer scores an idea, then runs a 30-day sprint where we email you one question a day and an AI coach replies to what you write. It is a structure for finishing things. It is not therapy, not medical or mental-health care, not legal advice, and not financial advice.

You must be at least 16 to use it. One account per person.

A sprint needs only an email address. There is no password: you sign in through a link we email you, which expires an hour after it is sent and works once. Anyone with access to your inbox can therefore reach your account, so keep your inbox secure. Tell us if you think someone else has.

Your commitment is yours. We do not verify it at this tier, we take your word for it at the last day, and nothing here is enforceable against you. You can quit any sprint at any time from your dashboard, instantly, with no penalty and no attempt to talk you out of it.

Two things are fixed once a sprint starts: the commitment text and the privacy level. That is the mechanism working as designed, not a limitation we intend to remove.

You keep ownership of everything you write. You give us permission to store it, to send the relevant parts to our AI provider to generate coach replies and summaries, and to display it at the privacy level you chose. If you chose Public, you are choosing to publish it.

Do not post content that is:

• illegal, or that encourages someone else to break the law
• harassing, hateful, or targeted at a private individual
• sexual content, spam, or advertising
• someone else’s personal information

Automated moderation runs over everything before it appears anywhere, and flagged content is held for a person to review within 24 hours. Public posts can be reported by anyone, and a reported post comes down within seven days if we have not reviewed it sooner. We can remove content or close an account for breaking these rules, and we will tell you what happened and why.

Brutal Mode is not available. When it launches it will work as a commitment contract: your own deposit, held in escrow, returned to you if a human witness verifies you finished, or donated to a charity you chose in advance if they do not. There is no pool, no prize, and no one wins your money. We do not take a cut of deposits.

Nothing on the site charges you anything today. Choosing an anti-charity during setup stores a preference and moves no money. Specific deposit, refund and donation terms will be published, and separately agreed to, before that tier opens.

We run this as reliably as we can and make no promise of uninterrupted service. If we are down at the end of your sprint, we extend your deadline by the length of the outage. If our AI provider is down, you get a written-by-us reply and the sprint keeps running.

The service is provided as-is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us, which today is nothing.

Nothing here limits liability we are not permitted to limit, and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

If you write something that suggests you may be at risk of harming yourself, we will replace the coach reply with crisis resources, pause your sprint, and alert a person on our team. We are not an emergency service. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number.

Delete your account whenever you like, from your dashboard. We may close an account that breaks these terms. If we change these terms materially we will email anyone with an active sprint before the change takes effect.
